The Teachings of Osho

Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, also called Osho (1931 - 1990), was an Indian spiritual teacher who became famous worldwide during the time of the Beatles and “flower power”. The mass media branded him the “sex guru” as, among other things, he advocated not to suppress our sexuality. What few people know is that Osho started as a renowned professor of philosophy with a deep knowledge of the spiritual traditions of the world. In this retreat, we will cut through the clutter the mass media have piled upon the person Osho and look into the profound teachings that he left behind. Osho’s talks are fun to watch, they will make you laugh, and give you lots of inspiration on how to approach your own life in way that liberates your and helps you to realize your fullest potential. We will do this in after-dinner presentations and discussions that are optional to. During the morning yoga sessions, we also will make available for you to participate (also optimal) in a special kind of dynamic meditation created by Osho.

The reason why I keep coming back to Deborah’s wonderful place is the connection to nature. You see that in the subtitle of the events I bring here, “Connect to pure nature.” That’s for me a really important part of connecting with yourself again. What I like is when I come here I get up with the sun and I go to bed with the sun. I am in the midst of nature; the beautiful ocean, the beach is just steps away. The grounds of are surrounded, full with the most beautiful nature that you can imagine. The monkeys are literally sitting on a tree outside your room. This connection with nature, for the time I’m here, aligning my rhythm with the rhythm of nature, is just a wonderful healing experience from the inside out.

The second part is the food that we get is of exceptional quality. It’s also related to the transformation that happens. How you feel physically and mentally is, to a large part, determined by what you put into your mouth. While I’m here I feel that I’m nurtured physically, emotionally and mentally by the nature, the food, and by the people here. All of that creates a really unique combination that I have not found anywhere else in the world. It makes me want to come back again and again.
