Deborah Brackman bio

An artist, dancer, writer and visionary, Deborah is a lover of life and of the people with whom she comes in contact. As the owner of Nosier B&B Retreat and the guardian of the beautiful land on which it is situated, Deborah has both guided the business and held space for numerous retreats and ceremonies over the last eleven years. 
Formerly, her life long passion for transformation moved her to lead retreats in India and Europe as a Rajneesh (Osho) Therapist, practice Tibetan Buddhism with a renowned teacher, graduate from Barbara Brennan’s School of Healing, complete the Nosara Yoga Institute’s teacher’s training, and trainings in the holistic movement practice of Nia.(www.Nianow.com)(link) 
Over the last fifteen years, immersed in the “Red Road,” Native American Spiritual Path. She now leads Temascals at Nosara B&B Retreat as her service and sharing of this path. 
We are grateful and fortunate to have a devoted all Tico (Costa Rican) staff, highlighting the kind, friendly, and dedicated soul of the Costa Rican people. Our warm family atmosphere prioritizes individuals and heart felt connections. The work happens here in a spirit of “pura vida,” (pure life) harmony and ease that is contagious, welcoming you to the heart of the real Costa Rica.
Gloria – Gloria’s beauty, and bright smiling presence lights up the office. She is friends with everyone. Originally from Nicoya, Gloria is close with her extended family there and values family events and connections. She manages Nosara B&B Retreat with kindness and grace. She puts her heart into her work, handling the accounts and the business overview, she loves dancing, and rescuing puppies, her latest, Ramon. She’s been with us at Nosara B&B Retreat for two and a half years.
Sandra – Lovely Sandra, Gloria’s right hand in the office is the loving mom of Mateo, her sweet four-year-old son. Originally from Belen, near Nicoya, she’s lived in Nosara for 7 years. Sandra enjoys the beach, biking and running. She studied English and business administration in University of San Jose. She’s been with us at Nosara B&B Retreat for two years.
Marlise – originally from Guapeles, near Limon, she spent years in Nicoya. The mother of two small children, Marlise puts her heart into mothering everyone here daily by cleaning and beautifying our place. Her laughter and sparkling eyes cheer us up. She’s always ready for a joke, or to share a warm hug. Marlise has been with us for nine months.
Marlene – Warm and good spirited, with a ready smile, Marlene assists Marlise with the cleaning and laundry and in her spare time, she does sewing for us. In the evenings, she cooks for a local soda. Her hard work and positive energy are a gift for us. She’s been helping at Nosara B&B Retreat for the last six months.
Marvin Garcia – originally from — soft spoken and kind, is a consummate handyman. Formerly he worked for many years in construction. Years back, he built a new bathroom for us. We are fortunate to have his skill and versatility in fixing and renovating whatever arises for us. We get constant positive feedback on his artistic cement finish in our renovated bathroom. He’s been with us for about a year.
Brian – is Marvin’s son and they work well together recently completing an attractive wooden framed porch covered with transparent plastic  outside our main house. Brian’s gentle spirit and bright eyes greet us as he clears paths and keeps our garden areas tended and clean. He came to help us with his father about a year ago.
